    Let me start by saying I’m a website novice, so be kind.

    I have scanned many threads which none seem to help. I am trying to log into the admin side of my site. I put username and password in and check the box for the reCAPTCHA that says I am not a robot. I get the error “The reCAPTCHA wasn’t entered correctly.” This worked just fine yesterday. I got into the FTP side of the site but could not find anything to disable or delete that referred to reCAPTCHA (incase I am just doing something pretty dumb). I searched for the word reCAPTCHA and parts and did not find anything. What am I doing wrong or how to remedy this? I would just like reCAPTCHA off if possible.

    Hi,

    In order to access your dashboard, it is necessary to deactivate plugin manually. Please complete the following steps:
    1) Go to the your_wp_root/wp-content/plugins folder via FTP (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/FTP_Clients);
    2) Find and rename “google-captcha” folder into “google-captcha1”;
    3) After you log into your dashboard, you can rename the folder back.

    Please make sure you have correct “Site key” and “Secret key” entered on the plugin settings page. Get correct keys you can here – https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin#list. If you sure the keys are correct, provide a link to the login page (the plugin should be activated), and we’ll try to detect the problem.
