    Hi there,

I have my shop set up and ready, my friend made a test purchase and when they got the receipt on their email it was from [email protected] instead from the original email [email protected]

I thought it was a problem from bluehost.com, when I contacted them they told me the problem is from the plugin.

The weird part is that the email [email protected] was created through google for business and not through bluehost.com

    Any clue?

  • Hello wolf5659, what plugin are you using for your shop?

Woocommerce. Sorry thought I already mentioned that: ( the theme is mayashop

Okay go to WooCommere >> Settings >> Emails and enter your e-mail there.

Did that since I bought woo

Also if that does not work, make sure that you have the correct e-mail under WordPress Admin panel >> Settings >> General >> E-mail Address = enter your e-mail here.

    Kind regards

A requirement for sending out email from WordPress when you are with Bluehost, is that the email address you want to send from must be created in your Bluehost cPanel account. Even if your incoming email goes somewhere else, creat it at Bluehost as a dummy/placeholder account, then it will work.

mbrsolution the email there is the same email I am using which is [email protected]

BH_WP_Guru wouldn’t that conflict with google? and then I would have to go back and forth between both to check which is receiving the emails?

Have you got a plugin that might conflict with your settings?

No, you can have the same email address at many hosts at once, but inbound email will only go where your MX is pointed to, which is google. It only allows you to send ‘outbound’ from multiple locations.

    Facebook

    Google Analytics for WordPress

    WooCommerce

    WooCommerce USPS

These are the ones activated. I will try and do like BH suggested and also see how that goes.

Thank you both, the solution was as BH said, just had to make an email on the server itself ??

I am glad you solved it ??
