Receipts instead of invoices

Hi, for some reason invoices seem no longer available and receipts are automatically generated instead.
In the order details page the “PDF Invoice Data” fields are also inactive.

I can’t figure out where to check for this problem. Could you please give me a hint?

I see that in wc settings > email invoice email is set to be sent manually, but I don’t know if it has to do with the issue (neither I can’t change this status).
