• I attempted to upgrade to WP 3.7.1 and it says it installed and upgraded yet when I go to upgrade plugins or install new plugins I get the following errors:

You have the latest version of WordPress.
Warning: require(/home/content/95/11989795/html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader-skins.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/95/11989795/html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php on line 14

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/content/95/11989795/html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader-skins.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php’) in /home/content/95/11989795/html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php on line 14

What does this mean and how can I get this addressed?

  • If you are getting these kinds of errors on every install of WP, you need to talk to GoDaddy about it.

YAY was able to upgrade to 3.8!!! I went into FTP, renamed the plugin folder, changed the theme to a generic theme and upgraded via Go Daddy. Went very smooth.
