We are trying to sync our Active Directory users to WordPress. In the configuration under Sync To WordPress, we put the Import Member of Security Groups to domain user; id:513, then put in the service account username and password and then save.. Then we try to sync to wordpress, but keep receiving Synchronization Failed and then the warning message below.

[INFO ] Start of Sync to WordPress
[INFO ] LDAP connection is *not* encrypted
[WARN ] User [email protected] with SID S-number (domain SID: S-number) is not member of domain with domain SID “S-0′

Now we are new to Active Directory, and new to setting things up in with Active Directory. So far we like what we see in your plugin but trying to figure out how this connecting Active Directory up to wordpress works. We have test authentication on a user and is working. Is there a documentation for this plugin? How can we fix this issue? Need some guidance please.

Okay… Now I am recieving the error message of “No Possible users for Sync to WordPress where found…

[INFO ] Start of Sync to WordPress
[INFO ] LDAP connection is *not* encrypted
[ERROR] No possible users for Sync to WordPress were found.

    Hey shadynicnack

You can find our official documentation at https://www.active-directory-wp.com/docs/Getting_Started.html

I′ve also looked into your problem, and I believe I reproduced it. At the moment, the user interface is not very intuitive.

When you enter the “Import members of security groups” option, you will need to press the plus icon next to the input field in order for it to save your setting.

The error ‘[ERROR] No possible users for Sync to WordPress were found.’ is most likely caused by an empty setting for the security groups. So make sure you enter your security groups and then press the little plus icon next to it and then save.

    Example

If this does not solve your issue, please let us know and we will try to further assist you.
