Receiving blank messages from submission

Hi,

Daily, I receive about 15 blank messages from contact form in my website. I don’t know who those are and how can I block or prevent receiving such this messages in the future.

To fix this, I’d suggest you add CAPTCHA/ReCAPTCHA to your contact forms. Adding CAPTCHA or reCAPTCHA can reduce spam submissions, which often come in as blank messages. Most contact form plugins support CAPTCHA.

You can also try out Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection or any other plugins available in the directory.

I have just installed reCAPTCHA and connected to my website. I hope this will fix the problem.

I will let you know if I stopped receiving blanks messages anymore.

FYI, while reCAPTCHA should dramatically reduce the amount of spam coming from your contact form, you should expect that a few will still leak through anyway. If the remaining spam volume is still bothersome, depending upon your email setup, it might be possible to filter out messages that are blank and have them automatically discarded.
