Receiving CF7-Spam

  • Hi there,

    Since few weeks we’ve been receiving spam through our contact form, which is using contact form 7. The CF7-Version is Version 4.9.1.

    I’ve enabled the anti-spam settings in cerber anti-spam for login, registration, lost password and comments – There is no option for contact forms in general, but if I understood the plugin description correctly, it does it automatically.

    Do you know, what the issue might be?

    Hi!

    For a contact form you need to enable this option: “Protect all forms on the website with bot detection engine”.

    Hi Gioni,

    Please excuse my delayed response!
    This option was checked since the begin, unfortunately we are still receiving multiple spam emails a day via the contact form 7 on our website.

    On login forms and on other places the little recaptcha-logo on the bottom right is showing. This is not showing up on the contact page (https://esport-battlefield.com/contact-us/).

    Do you know, why this is happening?
