    Hello,

Before this plugin i was unable to send any test emails but now the test emails are working ( thank you ! ) but for some reason when i fill out my contact forum on the website it will send my auto “thank you for contacting us” email to the user but there message does not appear in my mailbox ( i’ve looked on my cell, web and emclient ).

I’m using FS Contact forum, also i have checked and the email my contact forum is suppose to be sent to is typed in correct.

The auto respond email message i have set up is under my sent mail but i never receive the email that the user contacts me with.

Before I continue, is there a reason you removed the domain? Domain names are generally public records and not secret.

Not really, i always go through what ever im posting and blank any anything i don’t think is necessary

Well the domain is the key to your issue.

Your MX is correct. Looks like you’re using Google Apps:

    jedoorservices.ca.	3201	IN	MX	1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
    jedoorservices.ca.	3201	IN	MX	5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
    jedoorservices.ca.	3201	IN	MX	5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
    jedoorservices.ca.	3201	IN	MX	10 ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
    jedoorservices.ca.	3201	IN	MX	10 ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.

But your corresponding SPF is missing.

    jedoorservices.ca.	3599	IN	TXT	"google-site-verification=_94FKlUHui9KIXNL71risth3EHkO-rqeHJAjWznzn-0"

So you’ll want to add that and that will most likely solve your issue. (Leave your existing TXT record and add another for the SPF)

I also use Google Apps, here’s what my SPF TXT record looks like. Yours should be the same:

    hendriks.ca. 3599	IN	TXT	"v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all"

Perfect thanks for your help – i will try this out and report back.

Hello – still does not seem to be working, maybe i just have not waited long enough yet.

    I’ll quote the article:

Keep in mind that changes to DNS records may take up to 48 hours to propagate throughout the Internet.

Although, I see your change, good job:

    jedoorservices.ca.	599	IN	TXT	"v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all"
    jedoorservices.ca.	599	IN	TXT	"google-site-verification=_94FKlUHui9KIXNL71risth3EHkO-rqeHJAjWznzn-0"

If it doesn’t work by tomorrow, then check:

    • does the email show up in your Gmail sent folder? Then we know FS Contact Form sent it and maybe you should double-check the “to” address
    • the email doesn’t show up in your Gmail sent folder? Then FS Contact Form/Postman never sent it

Sounds good, i will check it out tomorrow and report back – thanks for help.

No problem! Glad you’re getting it sorted out ?? Give it a bit more time. Note that your .com address is missing the SPF as well.

    (@jasonhendriks)

That .ca should be working by now.
