Receiving End Does Not Exist

  • I found this message which I didn’t realize was from your plugin until today:

    admin.php?page=wapt_generate-wbcr_apt:1 Unchecked runtime.lastError: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.

    This is followed by gets to /wp-admin/undefined

    I did a Google search for wapt_generate-wbcr_apt and found out it is related to this plugin. In the past, I thought it was probably from Jetpack or something unrelated. Then I disabled Jetpack and still got this error so I did a Google search.

    This user reports having a problem when his site reached a certain size which sounds like the problem I am experiencing.

    No other hits were found on Google for that query which were of a troubleshooting nature. I will try boosting the memory available to the sites to see if that fixes it. I will give it a really high number because RAM is one thing my system has plenty of normally.

    Setting the memory to 2GB did nothing. I also tried running with basically no limits on other constraints present in MultiPHPini editor. Nothing worked, obviously this is a broken plugin.

    How hard is it to just make the plugin finish the job by setting the image found in the post as the featured image?
