Receiving Internal Server Error

  • I am using an outside theme (Clock by Mythemeshop) that allows for the addition of a number of short codes to my posts. When I click on the button to add the codes, I receive this error:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    I have contacted Mythemeshop and they say the error is not on their side. Any advice?

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Twelve theme?

    Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.
