Receiving more Failed Login Attempt messages than usual

That seems low compared to what I have been experiencing over the past few days. I seem to be getting about 50 lockouts per day from various IP’s.

Same here. Since this Tuesday a massive increase of login attempts.

Anyone else?

I’m seeing similar behavior across several sites. Looks like a botnet is getting itchy.

In addition to Limit Login Attempt I installed WP Ban: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-ban/

This way I can block certain IPs completely.

I just set mine for long lockout of 1 year. Maybe after a spell, that will cut down on the emails….

I only did it because after having this plugin installed for years, I’ve never run afoul of it.
