Recent Comments widget issue

When hiding a post it disappears from the “Recent Posts” widget but the comments on that post remain in the “Recent Comments” widget.

This isn’t fixed with the fix on the previous thread.

The user experience is less than ideal as they see a recent comment, click it and are presented with a 404 error.

Can this be fixed?
