Recent Post Displays Instead of Static Page

  • The issue giving me a bit of a problem is that the actual content in my static pages is being replaced by the content of my latest post – the rest of my page template displays fine.

    What is really strange is that if I delete my latest post (so there are no posts in this installation, only pages), then no content displays on any of my pages except the edit link. If I click the link to edit the page I’m taken to the correct page to edit in the backend.

    This occurred after I had moved the installation of WP from one directory to a different directory on the same server.

    I’ve double-checked the loop, double-checked that all the paths changed from the old installation to the new one in the templates and the WP database, but I’m out of ideas what may be causing this problem.

    Nevermind, I feel quite silly now after re-reading (a few times) a similar problem on the forums. My problem was improperly formed loop in the page header. Once I removed it things were fine.
