Recent post in a page (inside the text)

Hi
I have searched and searched. I can not figure out how to create a recent post list on a static page.

A list that is in the middle of the text of that page.

I can not find anything.
But i can find how to just create a template and make a list. But i dont know how to put that list inside the text of the actual page.

Please help
