Recent post widget not showing the post after change publushed date

  • Hi There,
    I changed the published date of an old post so that they could be seen in the recent post section. It was posted in “July, 2018” and i changed the published date “August,2018”.

    But its not showing in recent post widget.
    What could be the issue ?
