"Recent posts" doesn't show all

I’ve been trying for some time to get the “Recent posts” section of my site (common-scold.net) to include all my posts, especially the recent ones. It *does* include my original posts from last year, but not the very recent ones. Any ideas? Thanks.

Also, my header (20/20 theme) picks up the names of my posts, and I’d like to eliminate this feature, since the posts are listed below (or will be, once I figure out “Recent posts.” I want a clean header. Thanks again.
