Recent Posts layout issue

Creating a new thread here (apologies…)

I used the override to enable featured posts to appear in my main blog stream (thanks for that tutorial). After adding the fix, the text that previously appeared to the right of my thumbnail images (date, title, excerpt) now appears below the thumbnail. I don’t know much about CSS and can’t find a solution that will reinstate the text to the right of the thumbnail.
