I have just changed to SEOPress theme. It is great and I will probably upgrade to PRO. I would like to show my recent posts on the static front page. I was able to do this with my previous theme. How can I do this?

Looks like you want to have your recent posts on your front page. Here’s a link to plugin that will allow you to do just that.

Let me know if that helps!

    Hi harrysam,

    Have you tried the following?

    1) Within the WordPress admin dashboard, go to Settings > Reading.

    2) Under the Reading Settings, you will see a drop-down option for ‘front page displays’.

    3) Click on the ‘Your latest posts’ radio button.

    4) Click on the ‘Save Changes’ button.

Thanks Liam, I tried that already. It removes the static page text and replaces it with latest posts. I wanted both- an introductory text above and latest posts below.

It may just be an issue on this theme, because it has worked for me in the past as you describe it.

Freddie thanks but the plug-in says “display recent posts of a custom type in place of recent posts”. I can’t even display recent posts.

Sorry! I didn’t read the plugin correctly but this one should do the trick.

This one will allow you to put posts on ANY page of your site. Plus you can make them look cooler with grid views.

That’s great Freddie, thanks. It looks like I need the Pro version to dynamically update the list as new posts are added, but I will stick with the free version for a few days before deciding whether to upgrade. Thanks for your help!

I’m going to keep looking for a free way so I’ll let you know if I find anything!

    Hi

Please use page builder to display recent posts on the static front page or on any static page. this is multi purpose theme and all content will added by page builder.

    Thanks
