Recent Posts only displays 5 most recent

    My ‘Recent Posts’ widget in right sidebar only displays the five most recent posts. This happened after I posted a 6th post.

    I checked Reading Settings and the ‘Blog Pages Show at Most’ field is set to 10 posts. It is an open text field. I can’t see anything else from the dashboard. What’s wrong?

    I checked Reading Settings and the ‘Blog Pages Show at Most’ field is set to 10 posts.

    This changes the number of Posts shown on the page not on the widget.

    To change the number of post links on the Recent Posts Widget, you have to go to the Widgets page. Since you’re using the Right Sidebar click the Sidebar – Right area. Find Recent Posts then change the value of Number of posts to show.
