Recent Posts widget – why is the size fixed?

    Hi,
    I am reposting this question as I didnt get a reply.

    My ‘Recent Posts’ widget in right sidebar only displays the five most recent posts. This happened after I posted a 6th post.

    I checked Reading Settings and the ‘Blog Pages Show at Most’ field is set to 10 posts. It is an open text field. I can’t see anything else from the dashboard.

    Does there need to be a paramter in Text Widget?
