The recent update is missing files submit.php, display.php which I think should be form-submit.php, form-display.php.

But the one file that is completely not in the folder is the validation.php

All this 3 files are being called inside module.php

Was able to fix this but now the “Edit Specific Post” option on this element in elementor prevents the form from being displayed in the page.

Yes the update also broke my site.

I just spinned a fresh new WP install with only ACF and the last version of Frontend admin and it creates a critical error on the website.

So it’s definitely not due to any other plugin or theme (I tried with the default WordPress 2024 theme).

This needs to be patched thanks ! ??

guys, after last update, you literally destroyed my web-application!!!! Please make a patch to fix a critical issue. Thanks got I found a previous version in backups (3.18.12) which could restore all functionalities!

    waiting for updates.

    thanks

Here is the same. Updating to version 3.18.14 shows an error that it cannot find several files:

    • wp-content\plugins\acf-frontend-form-element\main\frontend/forms/classes/submit.php
    • wp-content\plugins\acf-frontend-form-element\main\frontend/forms/classes/display.php
    • wp-content\plugins\acf-frontend-form-element\main\frontend/forms/classes/validation.php

So sorry about this. This was due to problem with the SVN commit. We have taken notes and will make sure this type of error never happens again.

Updating to the 3.18.14 won’t cause this anymore. I am sorry that your were affected by this.

Hi @dynamiapps, thanks a lot for your quick answer and patch, I updated the plugin and it works perfectly fine !

    Thanks !

Is there a patch? I don’t see any update available for the plugin. The latest version is 8.18.14 (the one that’s causing the error).

@louis, thanks for letting us know

@etejada, delete the plugin and reinstall it. Alternatively, you can wait till we push version 3.18.15

That way, (delete and reinstall), I won’t lose the forms I’ve created?

    No you won’t
