    Hi sob1,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re having and I’ll be happy to help.

I don’t believe any of the code that was added or removed from the plugin in the upgrade from 1.9.1 to 1.9.2 would have affected the Share Buttons plugin.

If you haven’t had a chance to yet, please take a few minutes to work through the Troubleshooting Guide and FAQs, as these solve most issues users have.

If those don’t solve the issue for you, I’ll need a bit more info from you on the specifics, and we’ll need to email back and forth, so please head over to the WP-SpamShield Support Form, and take a moment to fill out a support request. That will allow us to take care of this as quickly as possible for you (and anyone else who is experiencing the same issue).

I tried it three times now. After WP-SpamShield update 1.9.1 to 1.9.3 the GetSocial.io plugin stops working. Not just share buttons but everything, welcome bar etc.
Making changes in WP-SpamShield settings didn’t help.

Restoring just the plugin back to the older version didn’t fix the issue, so I had to restore the database.

Looks like it might be something specific between WP-SpamShield and GetSocial.io

    Hi sob1,

    That’s very strange.

WP-SpamShield wouldn’t have made any changes to your database that would affect the other plugin or cause you to need to restore an older version. When you deactivate WP-SpamShield and delete it, it literally removes all traces of itself from the WordPress database.

We will be happy to help you fix the issue on your site to get the two plugins working together. As I mentioned above, just head over to the to the WP-SpamShield Support Form, and take a moment to fill out a support request. We’ll help you figure this out.

We just installed “Share Buttons & tools to grow traffic” on one of our test sites that has WP-SpamShield installed, and the two are working fine together…no issues or conflicts.

There might be a conflict specific to your site. I’d recommend completely uninstalling both plugins and reinstalling them from scratch, and see if you have any issues.

Just a note, problem solved through support ticket.
    It was about Autooptimize plugin.

If you go into Autoptimize settings, turn on “Optimize JavaScript Code?” and show the Advanced Options, where it says “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize:”…..and where it says “.php, jquery”, change it to “.php,jquery1″…..

    Thank You!

    You’re welcome!

That’s a temporary workaround, but we’ll make a tweak to the next release to avoid the issue altogether. We’re working on maximum compatibility with Autoptimize, and we’re almost there. ??
