Hi there, in the most recent updates, some of my settings have been overridden which has broken major functionality on my website which relies on using Application Passwords for backend requests.

Specifically the checkbox on this screen: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=aiowpsec_userlogin&tab=additional

“Check this if you want to disable the application password.”

This checkbox must remain unchecked for my site to function correctly however recent updates since v5 have caused it to revert to checked twice already. It’s possible this is affecting other settings as well.

For the time being I have disabled automatic updates on this plugin.

We found the issue and fixed it in our development version of the AIOS plugin. We will release it in the next few hours.

The changelog entry will be like the below:

A few setting options like enabling the honeypot feature for the registration page, disabling the application password, enabling move spam comments to trash after specified days, moving spam comments to trash after days, enabling remove database tables upon uninstalling, and enabling remove of all plugin settings upon uninstalling the plugin were overridden on upgrading the plugin.
