Recently optimized all images – now it tells me it wants to do it again

  • I installed ShortPixel a month ago. I then bought credit to optimize all images and thumbnails. All was fine and I manually ran the optimization after uploading subsequent images. Today It tells me I have 587 originals and 5800 THUMBNAILS that require optimization. Whats going on? There was a plugin update. Has that screwed up the log files? Does it no longer see what was previousely run through the bulk process?

    From your description I’d guess that you either restored your website recently or you run a thumbnail regeneration plugin. Does that sound like something you did recently?
