Recieving Multiple Emails from forms with no content

    I keep receiving multiple emails from the forms across various pages of my site with no valid content in the message.

    All I receive is:

    Your name
    Number
    What is your Query?

    or something to that affect. Often it will be “-1”.

    Looking at it, I think it is just spam or robots, so would adding a capchta into the field resolve this issue or is there something more on hand here??

  • I would add the captcha to forms because as soon as some finds you page they will run a script to blast you with spam. I have found that once in a while a form can be triggered by a bot if there are no requires fields as well. So two things you can try is making a field or two set to required as well as adding captcha.

    Yea I was thinking about that alright. I noticed a lot lately that our newsletter signup feature is also getting subscribers that do not exist and relate to servers in Russia or Asia.

    I will add the Captcha and see how it goes.
