Recommend an EMAIL plugin?

  • can anyone recommend a VERY SIMPLE plugin or method for users to send us their email, to join an email list?

    We want to put this in the footer. It should be very low-fi, and simply look like:

    ‘JOIN EMAIL LIST: [ text input box ] [join button]’
    the join button will send the users email to our email account. This is very simple. So simple its confusing us!
    I see the Mail plugins at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Plugins/Mail but again I’m not sure which one is actually this simple. They all look more sophisticated.

    Any help? Much appreciated.

  • You don’t want/need an “email plugin”.
    What you are looking for: a mailing list with it’s subscribe button.

    I don’t really know of any mailing list plugin.

    I stand corrected: the Mailman integration and the Newsletter manager seem to be something you are after!

    unfortunately Mailman integration site is kerplunk and Newsletter manager redirects to semiologic ‘package’ selling for $300! thanks though.
