• I’m fan of this theme and been using it for years.

The features almost cant complaint. and it works well.

However, the updates lately seems keep adding more features or there are some source consumption loops, checking, requests that makes the theme harder to load.

The speed is extremely important if not the most important.

I’m hoping in the next update, the developer can remove unnecessary script checking, request or loops to improve the performance. Simpler the better.

The reason I wont consider the pro version would be – there must be more features that I need to get rid off in order to save resource.

Is there a developer from hueman team that I can hire to improve my site performance? Hoping Hueman can launch this service, some webmasters here may willing to pay for this service like me.

    Keep up the good works!

    Alex

    Hi @davikk,

Thank you for this feedback. Speed is a major concern for me too. Design and code decisions are always taken with this consideration in mind.

During the last months, the size of the theme’s assets ( script and stylesheet ) have grown by a few kbs. But meanwhile, the performance has also been improved. The images can be lazy loaded by checking a specific option in the customizer, all scripts and stylesheets are minified on front end, unnecessary scripts are not loaded anymore ( typically the featured post slider ).
But I agree, speed is key, and improvements that requires the loading of a new js library on front, or involving an additional WP Query server side, must always be made optional.

    Cheers
