• Hi!

Thanks for a great plugin. I recently moved a website and its domain to a new server and I need to reconfigure the SMTP settings in the plugin but I just cannot find how to do that. Once configured it seems impossible to reconfigure the settings if needed.

When I press Post SMTP button from WP Dashboard I see only this

    Post SMTP Setup
    Postman is configured.

Postman will send mail via ??SMTPS to cloud408.mxserver.ro:465 using Password (Plain) authentication.

Postman has delivered 29 emails. The last 250 email attempts are recorded in the log.

Postman needs translators! Please take a moment to translate a few sentences on-line ??

New for v1.9.8! Fallback – setup a second delivery method when the first one is failing Check the detailes here

Can you please help me in resolve this issue?

    Thanks

  • Hi @flow23,

If you go to the Post SMTP main page /wp-admin/admin.php?page=postman, then you will see an option under the large blue ‘Start the Wizard’ button to ‘Show All Settings‘.

This is where you are able to change all of your Post SMTP settings. Alternatively, you can also go through the wizard again, that should work.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

I try to deactivate plugins, clear cache, but I dont see the option you talk about.

    Thanks

@flow23 – I found your question when I discovered I had the same problem.

Check your Adblock settings – switching ad blockers off on the site I was having problems with has resolved this for me, and you should then be able to see the configuration section.

I don’t know why the ad blocking software (in my case AdBlock Plus) is seeing the config section as a blockable advertisement.

    Hi @flow23,

@csreid is correct – this will almost certainly be an ad blocker issue.

I will work with the developer on seeing if we can get a fix out for this. Please let us know what ad blocker you are using so we can test.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim
