Hello, the website I am having trouble reconnecting is primarytools.co.uk. The wordpress files installation is in prmarytools.co.uk/files/. I had to roll back my website due to an issue and since then I cant reconnect to Jetpack.
It says “Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support.” and it says “An error occurred. Please try again.” under the set up jetpack button. I have tried to deatctive, delete and reinstall jetpack but no luck. Hosting is with bluehost. I have removed the site from cloudflare and changed nameservers back to bluehost. I have also deactivated all plugins – the only one that does not deactivated properly is WPRocket which may or may not be the issue and I am also raising this with them.

Help! I think I need it for my woocommerce payments which has also been knocked out!

    Hi there

While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:

    YOURSITE.COM/xmlrpc.php

This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:

    XML-RPC?server accepts POST requests only.

You can see a working example here:

    https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php

Since your site returns a 500?error?for this page, I would recommend getting in touch with your host so they can check their server logs for more details on what is causing that error.

Once we are able to access your site’s?xmlrpc.php file, you should be able to connect Jetpack to?https://wordpress.com.

    Thank-you.

The problem with the xmlrpc file is fixed – bluehost did the following.

It was a 500 php error because of couple of wordpress files and PHP version, I have updated recent PHP version and corrected the wordpress files
    Which fixed the issue

But I still cant connect to jetpack!

    Hi there –

At the moment, your site is rendering as a blank white page. You will need to resolve this issue in order to be able to connect Jetpack.
