    migrated to a fresh WP install:

    xyz_my-wp/blog1

    old was

    xyz_my-wp/blog + sign out of Google Web Kit

    after renamed to blog1/=>blog/

    when I went to reconnect Google Site kit got:

    The request to the authentication proxy has failed with an error: a site with the given URL already exists Get help.

    where in google go to delete old Site kit, because conflict with new installation??

    Thanks for getting in touch @lselwd. Based on your description, it sounds like Site Kit has recorded your old site records for your new site. Are you able to revert to your old setup, with a xyz_my-wp/blog, and if so can you attempt Site Kit setup on this domain? Let me know if so and I’ll guide you through the process of moving to your fresh install (xyz_my-wp/blog1).

    What I suspect happened was you didn’t reset Site Kit on the old domain before migrating to the new domain. Your new domain has a different URL, but likely some records referring to your old URL. A site reset (before migrating) would typically prevent this. Please don’t perform any reset at this stage, but do let me know if you can revert to your old site URL.

    yes that’s was

    note: domains was the same only folder was different

    i revert back

    reset Site Kit by Google

    and after do new URL/folder official i was able to apply Site Kit
