    hello,

when i add a new user via the plugin, the confirmation email that is recieved does not include the ‘private link’.

in the back office i have entered :

Merci, [first_name], pour votre inscription à sitename.
Vous pouvez compléter ou mettre à jour les informations vous concernant à tout moment en utilisant le lien privé suivant?: [record_link].

but when i receive the mail all i read is :

Merci, damien, pour votre inscription à sitename.
Vous pouvez compléter ou mettre à jour les informations vous concernant à tout moment en utilisant le lien privé suivant : .

its in french but you can see that [first_name] works, but not [record_link]

any clue ? it’s important for us that the user gets the link so he can manage his information – and i have the same issue faor the ‘forgotten password’ mail.

    thank for your help,

    damien

Make sure that the Participant Record Page setting is correct in the plugin settings under the “Record Form” tab.

    Manage database setting
    Advanced Settings
    Primary Email Address Field
-> make sure you select Email (email)

    THIS worked for me

    hello,

@xnau : i’m sorry i do not understand your answer : as far as i know, i have entered the setting that i believed correct… what point in particular should i check ?

@fosterclt : thank for your suggestion, but i checked and the field is already on ’email’, so the problem does not seem to come from here.

Make sure that the “Participant Record Page” setting points to a valid page.

    that’s it !

so to be clear for other viewers : first you need to create a page in which you add the shortcode [pdb_record], and second assign this page to the “Participant Record Page” (in ‘configuration page’ > third tab > first line).

in french, the field is called “Page de formulaire détaillé” which has quite a different meaning (something like “detailed/expanded form page”), so it took me some time to find it.

    thank you @xnau !
