    Hi,

    Amazing plugin, thanks!

I noticed that a core reason why I have less abandoned cart email success is that the link takes them back to the checkout without the original discount code applied.

Right now I have an offer on and a lot of emails I get are from customers who had abandoned cart and came back to view the full-priced offer.

Is there a way for the original coupon to be stored and saved so when customers come back they get the discounted price included?

Please note: this might be a normal feature but as I hide the Enter Discount field, I’m not sure it’s picked up by your plugin?

Any ideas on how I can fix this and recover more orders and respond to fewer emails? ??

    Thanks!

    Hello @alphaexcapital,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Right now, the plugin does not save the coupon applied to the checkout as the plugin also generates the new coupon if you have enabled it from the plugin and apply it to the checkout.

As there is no option to apply the original coupon to the checkout, you can generate the coupon from our plugin from the email template settings.

    Thanks for the response.

Is it possible to send product-specific emails? As this is a product-specific coupon + offer.

Or is there a way to append the coupon to the URL? I think this is important for abandoned carts because the token saved for the cart is not the exact same as they left it.

For example, would it be possible to get the coupon code data and amend this part of the code? I don’t know if it’s possible as I’m not a developer, but understand the basics:

    Hello @alphaexcapital,

The coupon generated by the plugin is applied to the total cart and there is no option to apply a coupon to a specific product.

But you can create the coupon with the product restrictions. i.e Coupon will be applied if the selected product is in cart. Then use the third party plugin that auto-apply the coupon based on the coupon condition.

This has worked perfectly, good idea. Thanks.
