    Hi.

I’ve just taken over two sites: arbitrationsociety.ca and arbitrationsociety.ca/en. I was hoping to overwrite arbitrationsociety.ca with the site as presented in arbitrationsociety.ca/en by replacing the related URLs in the profile tab.

I guess it isn’t that easy.

Now I’ve messed up arbitrationsociety.ca/en which was actually the site I was hoping to keep. I cannot login to arbitrationsociety.ca/en, as it redirects to the arbitrationsociety.ca admin login since that is now the associated URL.

    So, two things:
    1) How do I get back into arbitrationsociety.ca/en so I can undo the damage?
    2) How do I make arbitrationsociety.ca look like arbitrationsociety.ca/en without redoing everything.

    Thanks.

    J-F

    Here’s a blow-by-blow…

We manage our site using the online WordPress interface. We have two WordPress accounts associated with the domain: arbitrationsociety.ca and arbitrationsociety.ca/en, each of which have their own logins.

I was hoping to swap the content of the accounts so that the pages designed for the ….ca/en site appeared at the main ….ca site. To do so, I modified the WordPress address and site address URLs in the …ca/en admin interface from ….ca/en to ….ca. Now I’ve messed up the …ca/en site and can no longer access its admin site again, as now the …ca/en admin site address redirects automatically to the …ca admin site. I need the URLs put back to …ca/en so the site can revert to its original self and so I can use the admin interface.

How can I make this happen? Can I make this happen? Thanks.

It sounds mostly equivalent to moving domains. Read through that page and see if it helps.

Thanks. Between that and chatting with my domain host, all is fixed. Cheers.
