• Hello,

I just upgraded to 2.9.1, but I didn’t realize when I upgraded that it would overwrite my custom styles. Unfortunately, I did not have an additional copy saved. For the future, I will do that from now on. But, since I don’t have a copy right now, does anyone know if there is a way to recover my lost styles (style.css in the default theme folder).

Thank you so much for your help!

  • In theme default? just download a fresh copy and replace css files.
    What theme are you using?

I used the default theme to build my own styles off of. So, there is no fresh copy to download, since they were my own. I’m just wondering if there is a way to recover the old version of the style.css file I had in there previous to it being overwritten? Does that make sense?

Now I understand what the problem is ??

I’m not sure it can be done, you should always back up first your files before upgrade.

Ah well… figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. Guess it’s time to re-write that code! And definitely keep a back-up. Thanks!
