Recovery mode e-mail

  • I got this e-mail that my website is down and when I click the link I get this useless page:

  • This is not a useless page at all. You can see that the guilty plugin is a “gd-system-plugin”. This is obviously from your hoster GoDaddy. The best way to solve this is to contact their support.

    So I did get GoDaddy support to disable all plug-ins and then I tried to enable them one by one and as soon as I got to the woocommerce plug-in, I got the error again.

    Do you think it’s a good idea not to provide a back door to the admin interface so a site admin can fix this?

    According to your description, the error comes after activating WooCommerce. Then you should check the error log to see what the error is and contact their support: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/ – your hosting support can certainly help you determine the error in the error log.
