Hi, I seem to have deleted, possibly, a few files from my wordpress directory on my website server. I am getting this message via browser:

Warning: require(/home/briandol/public_html/wp/wp-includes/functions.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/briandol/public_html/wp/wp-settings.php on line 65

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/briandol/public_html/wp/wp-includes/functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/briandol/public_html/wp/wp-settings.php on line 65

Right now I’m transfering my full wordpress folder (‘wp’) from my server to my computer to save any settings files, then re-installing the original wordpress folder back to my server.

I’m assuming all my posts and settings will be lost?

Does anyone know which files are most important to save all my posts and customized settings? I figure I can then override the new/original files and get back to the site the way it was this morning. Ugh.

    thanks for any help-
