Hi, I use your plugin for some time past and I did’t have problem before.
But for weeks I cannot use it because in the new posts if I insert clearfloat, a rectangle appears at that place..
    Could you help me?

    Hi @crealexiadiy,
in order to investigate on this, I need you to provide more information:

    • screenshot of the error (the rectangle)
    • warnings/errors in the browser console
    • list of names and version of all active plugins (including TinyMCE Clear Float)
    • name and version of the current theme
    • WordPress version
    • optional: PHP version
    • used browser (https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/)

    Thanks.

    Hi,
Now I tried to insert a new post, and there is no rectangle but simply doesn’t work, so clearfloat has no effect.

    Hi @crealexiadiy,
    sorry for the delay!

    • Now I tried to insert a new post, […] but simply doesn’t work, so clearfloat has no effect.

There was a bug that prevented parsing of deprecated clear element if it contained non breaking space (<div style="clear: both;">&nbsp;</div>). It has been fixed in v1.3.2 which has been released just now. Please install the update and test if it works now.

    • Now I see rectangle.

The HTML comes from the edit backend and I have no idea why it was inserted into the post. Since I don’t see it on the page anymore I think this was a temporarily and unrelated issue. If the rectangle (the HTML) starts to show up on the page again, deactivate all plugins and switch to the default theme to check if the error still occurs.

    I hope this helps!
