• Hi MailPoet,

I have seen several requests here for recurring emails that go out on a schedule to woocommerce subscribers and you always ask why would anyone want to do this or say they would get marked as spam, however, we have a monthly subscription to a weekly zoom webinar and we want to send a transactional email out each week with the zoom link to the people who have PAID for it and are active or pending cancellation subscribers. Our emails can’t be based on when people subscribed but when the weekly meetings are. Our subscribers want to get up in the morning and see the email with their zoom link in it because they paid us for it. I can’t find any plugin that does this and it’s very frustrating and high stress for us to want to send an email every Wednesday at 6am Eastern time and have no way to schedule it in advance and have it be accurate at the time of sending. I believe that your plugin doesn’t do this based on your responses to other people who have requested it but I haven’t seen anyone explain as clearly as this why I would want this feature and why it’s not spam and why we want a computer to handle this at 6am and not have to rely on someone remembering to set an alarm outside of work hours and manually doing it each week. Thank you for your consideration of this feature.

At the moment we have our first weekly webinar class with almost 200 subscribers and we’d like to add more but it’s impossible trying to send a weekly zoom link and I feel like it shouldn’t be that hard. I probably need a developer with a custom solution because we can’t grow our webinar business if we can’t send out the zoom links somehow on a schedule.

    Thank you,

    Kathryn

Really this is a “feature request” not a “support question” since I don’t use your plugin because it doesn’t have the scheduling option I’m looking for. I would edit my entry to make it more concise or delete it but I don’t see any edit or delete button. Thank you, have a good day.

    Hi there,

Thank you for explaining your use case thoroughly.

I do understand your need and for MailPoet specifically the only way you could possibly achieve what you want currently is to import an updated list of subscribers with Subscribed status and schedule an email to be sent to this updated list each week.

I understand it’s not as automated as you’d like to but at least you wouldn’t need to send the email in real time.

Other than that, it would be great if you could add this idea here?https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

Alternatively, I’d suggest taking a look at AutomateWoo to see if it would fit your needs. With this WooCommerce extension, you can set emails to be sent on a schedule based on the Order Status and many other triggers.

Depending on your products are set up, it may suits you well.

    Thank you!
