Recurring events are showing the wrong end date

in your recurring events setup, can I know if you put some value on ‘Each event spans’ ?

The value is “Each Event Spans 1 day(s)

Here’s another example on a different site that I run:

This is a recurring event that runs daily from February 3-February 14
Each even it is a one-day event – for example, the link above is for the event on Thursday, February 4.
But the calendar shows dates of Thursday, February 4 – Thursday, February 5.

Each event in the recurring series shows the same thing – the event spans two days, instead of one.

if the recurring event is 1 day, you can just set this option to 0

Changing span to 0 fixed it.
Is there a way to make this the default?

Sorry, not that I know of.

0 should be the default already…
