• Hey there,
atm you need to set an end date (infinity is not possible) for the recurring events. By setting an end date all events until this date will be generated (bad performance if you have lots of events).

As an enhancement I’ve following idea:
It would be nice to have an option to define an infinity end-date + how many weeks ahead you want to create new events (e.g. 1 week / 1 month…). You would have a nice overview (not too many events + limited access [cannot book for an event next year]) and very good performance. In combination with a cronjob this should also be reliable.

    Thanks,
    Ninos

    hi,

at the moment the recurring events is already been planned for a major update but no eta yet due to other stuff which needs to be done first.

Ok thank you for your response! So a roadmap for that feature does not exists? Can you may tell me how I can limit the output of the events? Or is it easily possible to increase the end-date with a cronjob?

At the moment the only way to limit the range of recurring events is to use the date selector within admin.

It might be possible to do this using a cron job you’d need quite a complex script.
