Recurring events option does not come up in Add event page

No matter what I do I cannot get the recurring events option appear in ‘add event’ page.
I’ve checked user permissions (I’m the admin) and also has the Enable recurring events set to ‘Yes’ in settings. I’ve even deleted and re installed the plugin. What am I missing?Thanks & Best,
