Recurring monthly event on same date

use the recurring events page in the events manager menu list. Click add recurring event link at top of page. The resulting page will allow the time set and the date set. The time set in right and the date set below the post box. Also choose the location box is active if using drop down setting in the EM settings panels.

I (think I) know how to create a recurring event.
Sorry if my question wasn’t clear but how would I create a recurring event that’s on the same date every month? I’m only able to repeat an event on a certain weekday (e.g. 2nd Monday every month). How would I set up a repeating event on the same date (e.g. the 15th of each month.)

Is it possible to create recurring events on the same day of the month? If not, could that be solved via a) a customization of the plugin or b) is that something that’s considered for a future update of the plugin.
Or am I completely missing something (as recurring events on the same date seem like a such a basic feature).

I was previously trying to figure out the same thing c8000. I didn’t come to the forums, instead I created 12 events – one for each month – and made them recur annually on the same date. Not a hack, but gives us what we need.

Thank you very much for sharing @powerful1 , I wonder why I haven’t thought of that. That’s actually a pretty decent workaround, although I still find it a bit arbitrary that such a basic feature is missing from what is otherwise such an excellent plugin.
Anyway, I’ll do the same for now. Thanks again.
