    Hi,

I would like to set-up subsription for a box of drinks so a customer will not need to go
and buy it from my e-shop every month.

I will need a customer to make payment for the first one box immidiately and to allow Stripe to make reccuring payments from his card every month for the 11 months (so in total 12 months with the first payment done with the first purchuase).

Is this possible and how? ( I didn’t see or understand how to make this in your guidelines or video)

    Thanks
    Martin

  • Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin!

For now, you can set up a simple product subscription in our free plugin, you can set up this from the product edit page and set it accordingly, it’s given in the documentation that how to set up the simple subscription product if you want to set up variable products too then you need to check our pro plugin.

Hope this will resolve your concern.

Ok, I figured it out. I just fill in subscription settings in a product – Subscriptions Per Interval: 1 month and everything left blank. And it seems this will work form me.

However when I tried to place an subscription after submiting my credit card details (I am not registered user), it shows me that it does not work and I should try it later. When I check Subscritpion Table it is showing status: on-hold.

Could you please navigate me how can I resolve this?

Update: I understood that a customer needs to be loged as a member, but even if a customer logs as a memeber it does not work. It does not proceed and in the Subscription Table shows on-hold or pending. I use Stripe which is inbuilt in WooCommerce.

    Hi,

The issue may occurred due to some concern in order placement or some setup concern in WooCommerce stripe Payment Gateway, please check the setup again and place a fresh order and let us know if still any concerns, also it will be great if you’ll share a video of the whole process if you face any concern so that we can check and help you accordingly with it.

    Thanks,

Thank you, I tried few times but it does not work. Is it possible that Stripe Pament Gateway does not support reccuring payments to Czech Republic?

I will try to upload a video ASAP.

Here is a link with videos where I put an order. The other one is from backend where you can see that the order was recorded but is just on-hold. Thanks

    Hello,

We have checked the video you have shared,
and we have checked from our end issues is coming from your stripe payment gateway
plugin your order is going to the failed status that’s why subscription status goes into
    on-hold.

so please disable our subscription plugin for a while and place the order
with simple products and check it working or not if order status goes into
processing for that then reactivate our subscription plugin and then check.

Ok, so finaly I figured it out. I set too low price for a product (because of testing) and therefore Stripe did not want to proceed. Now it seems to be ok. Thank you for your help.

    That’s Great!
