Recursive search into subdirectories?

    Hi,

    Does this plugin perform a recursive search into subdirectories when looking for media? Or will it only look for files in the directory specified, without going any deeper?

    If not available, it would be really helpful to have this implemented as an option.

    I’m in the position that I have uploaded files to a previous WordPress installation, and therefore the uploads have been organised into year/month subdirectories. So I’d like to spider all files within all subdirectories, and import them all to the media library in my fresh WordPress installation.

    Hi,

    This plugin is a recursive search.

    The following note is required.
    If you upload a file to the same directory as the previous.
    ?Uncheck of “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”.
    ?Register Media.(ID will not be the same as before.)
    ?Check of “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”.

    hi,

    i have a similar case.
    My custom wp creates subdirs in the uploads folder. but this is not standard month/ year wordpress, but custom.
    i have unchecked: Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders.
    Can the plugin recurse into my subdirs?
