Recycle post as new

Hi
How could I trigger an activity in buddypress, so the recycled post would be shown in the buddypress activity stream?
Based on your commment ” This is useful if using another plugin or code that “does something” when a post is published.”; what ”variable” should I link?

Hello,
There are no ‘plugin variables’ so I’m not sure what you mean.
When APS recycles an old post as new, it just means it saves the post as a draft and then calls on WordPress to publish it again, triggering all WordPress hooks for publishing a new post. If your other plugin uses these WordPress hooks, such as publish_post, it should work automatically.
