Red border when ‘show more’ button is clicked

I show a portfolio list on my page and there is a load more button. Now when I hovered it there appeared a red border. I could remove that border with my own CSS. But if I now click on it then, while the button changes to ‘loading’ the red border still appears while my cursor is on the button. How can I remove that? I already tried with :focus, :before: after,…

To remove the red border when the button is clicked and in the “loading” state, you can use the
:activepseudo-class. This will remove the border while the button is being pressed/clicked:button:active { outline: none; }For more information:
