• In the backend menu, there is a red circle with the number 1 inside it by the Contact option.

It looks like a warning. What does it mean?

There are no new contacts. I would like to delete that number since it is confusing. How do I do that?

    Thank you.

  • It is a “message” from whatever plugin you’re using for the contact forms. Normally it means that there’s 1 thing that needs action. What that thing is we don’t know, but you should be able to find out what it is by clicking into the contact forms area and seeing what it highlights.

Thank you catacaustic. I explored it in detail and saw nothing odd. That’s why I’m seeking a solution here.

Then you should probabl ask in the support forum for the contact form plugin that you’re using. There’s no way for anyone here to be able to tell you anything with the limited informaton that you’ve given so far.
