I have built a WooCommerce website with Divi theme, everything works brilliantly except for the fact that the red x to remove a product from the cart doesn’t want to work.
    I have tried:
    1. Going back to WP default theme
    2. Clearing all caches (browser, Divi, hosting)
    3. Uninstalling and reinstalling WooCommerce
    4. Cart page is set in WooCommerce settings
    5. Disabling all plugins
    Still it won’t work.
Am I missing something? Are there any other things I could try?
I would very much appreciate some help.
    Thank you.

    Hi Tracy,

I’ve performed some cross-testing for us today on several of my sites which have the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and our free Storefront theme as the only enabled software. When doing so I’ve not been able to replicate the behaviour which you describe and the remove product icon is deleting the product from cart.

You can test this out on one of my test installations below by adding a product to the cart.

This indicates that something on your site other than our WooCommerce plugin is having a negative effect and causing this behaviour which you are experiencing. Usually, isolated behaviour like what you describe and which has not displayed during our cross-testing can be related to code with another plugin or a theme which is causing a potential conflict of some kind.

Do you have a URL for your site which we could take a look at?

    Hi Stuart,

Thank you for your reply. The site in question currently has a maintenance page up, and can’t go live until the client has completed setting up his banking to allow for payment processing. Is there a way around this, so that I can show you what’s happening.

If not, can I come back to this thread and reply to you again when the site is live?

I’ve checked this out on other sites I’ve built and they all work perfectly too. It’s not making sense to me.

Thanks again for trying to help.

    Hi @tracystokes

It’s possible that another of your plugins or your theme may be conflicting with WooCommerece. I would recommend disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and switching to the TwentyTwenty theme temporarily to see if it resolves the issue. If it does resolve the issue, reactivate the plugins one at a time, testing in between each until the problem resurfaces. If it’s not one of the plugins, try switching back to your regular theme to see if the problem resurfaces.

    Hi there,

I hope you found the previous reply helpful. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
