  • I have recently redesigned my site and wanted to get some opinions. Any comments would be appreciated.

    Also, does anyone have a good suggestion on where to look for doing tabs? I would like to add tabs where the search piece is, so that I can add more content to the sidebar.

  • Very distinctive. Good use of varied order for your *sidebar* links.

    Opinion-wise, the Adsense ad could probably be marked out a bit from your design, to make it a little more obvious it’s an ad. But to each hiers own. Archives could use sprucing up–it feels far more standard “blog style” compared to the rest.

    As for tabs, all sorts of ways to style lists horizontally, etc, here:

    Thanks for the links. That Listamatic page is awesome. Good idea on the Archives, it really does look like I just threw it together (which I did).

    the tabs on the sidebar are pretty neat. definitely different. something about the red horizontal lines though that hurt my eyes, might just be me though.

    Instead of the red should I go to a lighter grey? Then I would have just grey and black for the horizontal lines?
