Redirect 301

    If I just 301 a page like today but now want to add one word to the URL of the new page. Should I create another redirect from the new page to the new URL or what? Do I risk losing any juice by redirecting again? Should I just delete that redirect and redirect the old page to the new one or would the juice have already been transferred? Sorry if this is confusing just trying to state my worries.
